Though our theaters remain closed, we’re offering a variety of virtual sponsorship opportunities to continue to bring the arts to our membership base and the community. The historic Michigan Theater is an elegant venue for movies and live events and is a spectacular downtown community gathering space. Our recently renovated Art Deco State Theatre presents the latest in new art houses films across four screens. Over 250,000 people attend screening and live events at the Michigan Theater Foundation each year.

Sponsors frequently support special film series at the Michigan Theater Foundation. We work with individuals and organizations to present a broad range of series based on themes of all kinds, including: filmmaker or film talent retrospectives, celebration of national cinema, summer classics, holiday classics, genre series, and much more.
