A spoof of the turmoil that afflicted the movie industry in the late 1920s when movies went from silent to sound. When two silent movie stars’, Don Lockwood (GENE KELLY) and Lina Lamont (JEAN HAGEN), latest movie is made into a musical a chorus girl is brought in to dub Lina’s speaking and singing. Don is on top of the world until Lina finds out. Also stars DONALD O’CONNOR.

Special pre-show reception! At the Michigan Theater we LOVE our members! Please join us at our annual Valentine’s Day member event on Wednesday, February 14. We will serve complimentary sparkling wine and sweets. The reception will run from 6 pm to 7 pm followed by the 1952 classic “Singin’ in the Rain” in the historic main theater, which begins at 7:30 pm.
