Not Just for Kids



Our 2015-16 Not Just For Kids season is almost underway, with FIVE LIVE SHOWS geared toward family audiences. With everything from adaptations of favorite books, brand new versions of crowd-pleasers like Junie B. Jones, and returning showstoppers like Seussical, our Not Just for Kids series is a great way to introduce your child (or grandchild!) to the magic of live musical theater and performance.

Season Packages are still available!
Select 4 or 5 of the scheduled NJFK shows and receive FREE adult admission to all of our Toyota Family-Friendly Film Series (Kids 12 and under already receive free admission to all Family-Friendly Films).

Symphony packages also available!
Add performances of Gershwin’s Magic Key and The Magical Music of Disney, both presented by the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, to your season tickets!

  • Dog Loves Books • Sat. Oct. 3 at 1:30 PM: A delightful new musical that celebrates the power of the imagination and the satisfaction that comes when you share books with others. (Recommended for grades K-2).

  • Ariel, Zoey & Eli • Sat. Dec. 12 at 1:30 PM: This special concert will include their favorite songs, music to get you in the Holiday spirit and a few surprises! Ariel, Zoey & Eli received a 2015 Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Original Song. (For all ages!)

  • Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School • Sat. Feb. 13 at 1:30 PM: Now that JUNIE B. JONES has been going to school for over one-and-a-half years, who better to write the book on EVERYTHING you need to know? An all-new musical adventure based on Barbara Park‘s popular book. (Recommended for grades K – 5)
