Responding to popular demand, the Michigan Theater has
added a second show for the family musical Junie B. Jones
on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 11 am. Tickets go on sale Friday,
Jan. 25 at 10 am. Some tickets remain for the 1:30 pm show
but they are going fast, so the second show provides an
opportunity to obtain better seats.
The live musical performance, based on the books by Barbara
Park, tells of the big changes in store for Junie B. Jones
as she enters first grade. Getting used to the whole new
group of friends, a new teacher, and new glasses is challenging,
even for irrepressible Junie B. The performance follows
her adventures as she writes everything down in her "top-secret
personal beeswax" journal.
Junie B. Jones sold out three performances in December of
2006.
Reserved seats are $14 ($12 for Theater members) and will
be available online at Ticketmaster.com and at all Ticketmaster
outlets including Macy's and the Michigan Union Ticket Office.
To charge by phone, call 248-645-6666. For group sales,
please call 734-668-8397, ext. 29.
Junie B. Jones is part of the Michigan Theater's popular
Not Just for Kids series. The 2007-2008 NJFK series is presented
by Pfizer Global Research and Development with support from
the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Comerica,
the Benard L. Maas Foundation, the Ann Arbor News and 107one
FM.
